Mini Haul 1 – First Impression

Hey Pretties!

Just want to share a little first impression for my mini haul from Target (because who can walk to Target and not grabbing something from makeup aisle haha…)

Let’s dig inimg_2087

  1. Laneige Goodnight Kit (on sale for $5)

This box consists of 2 masks, one is the water sleeping mask, and two is the Mulberry Yogurt Repairing Mask. I’ve tried both and they felt nice on the skin. Both are on the creamy gel consistency with nice floral scent. I love me some subtle soft fragrance in my products, but if you’re sensitive to smell I don’t think this is gonna be a problem for you.

The water sleeping mask doesn’t really give any plumping effect in the morning like what’s all the hype said but still feel hydrating. For my oily skin, the first time I apply it, it feels a little tacky and not absorbed quickly. I will definitely need to use more of this to know how well it works

The repairing mask gives more instant result. No, you won’t have silky smooth flawless skin in one application (I wish!) but you can see the shrinking pores and firmer skin but not drying. Almost feel like jello feeling – the firm one, not the too much water one (what a worst way to explain it). I like both of this mask so far, but will give you an update once I use them more.

  1. Essence Pure Nude Highlight ($ 4.49)

Holy moly! January wasn’t over yet when I bought this and I broke my “what not to buy in 2017” list. But, in my defense I’ve been wanting to try this highlight since last year but the Target and Ulta near me always out of stock, and when I shop online at Ulta I always distracted by other stuff (good job for knowing what you want and what you need, Nic!)

Anyway, been using this for about 3 times now and I LOVE IT! This highlight gives you the nice sheen glow (not shimmer) on your skin. One thing that I love so much about this highlight is that it doesn’t accentuate the texture or pores on my skin, which what other highlight tends to do to me.

So, if you want a nice highlight that’s not blinding (which I prefer) this one is definitely for you.

  1. Essence Eyeliner Pen

There is nothing really special about this eyeliner. It does have a very thin tip that can give you precise liner (reminds me of Kat Von D tattoo liner) Well, almost all drugstore and high-end eyeliner have the same tip with this one (another reason why I always grab drugstore eyeliner, cause they’re just as good). For the price point that’s on the very affordable side, I can see I might get this one more often.

I think I’ll have to try more product from Essence. What do you guys think? What product from Essence that you like or I should try next?

Thanks for reading, Guys and please check back in about 2 weeks for the update on these products

Peace out!
