Top 5 Foundation for Oily Dehydrated Skin

Hey Pretties!

Here are my top 5 foundations after I optimized my makeup collection.

These foundations work well with my skin condition.

My current skin condition

Oily, slightly dehydrated with big pore and hormonal acne during ‘that’ time of the month

My cup of foundation

Medium coverage with natural finish. Even though I have oily skin, I don’t really like matte foundations because I also have large pores and matte foundations tend to make it look too dry.

So here are they, my top 5

1. Mac Face and Body Foundation

Why is this my number 1 fave you ask? Well, despite being the lightest in texture and giving you very sheer coverage, this foundation looks really good on my skin. It looks really natural and gives you very skin like appearance. I also love how this foundation doesn’t really need primer but still stay put and looks good after long hour wearing it.

PS: this is also a really good choice for the glass skin look

2. Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation

In my opinion, this is one of the underrated foundations on the market. Beauty gurus always rave about the GA luminous silk, but this one is also worth the hype. It has slightly more matte finish but still looks very beautiful on the skin.

3.Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation

Wow, isn’t it a mouthful šŸ˜† Anyway, this ‘newcomer’ got my attention since the first time I tried it on. I tried this one because all the good reviews coming from oily skin Youtubers, and Girls, do I like this one so much. It does say matte on the packaging but on my skin it looks more satin-ish. It sits beautifully on the skin, stay put and doesn’t look greasy even though I wear it under the sun for looong hour

4. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

This is more of a tinted moisturizer than a foundation. It has really sheer and natural coverage, and also feels really light weight on the skin. This is my go to on hot summer day, or just when I need a quick ‘put together’ look

5. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation

Long story short, this is like the thicker version of the Mac Face and Body Foundation. It still a very light and watery in consistency but it has more pigment. Using 1 layer of this foundation, gives me more coverage than the Mac one. One reason why this only come at number 5 is because it’s trickier to work with. This foundation isn’t easily to be sheered out. While the Mac one works really well mixed with almost all moisturizer or liquid highlighter, this Tarte one doesn’t always mixed well.

So, are there any of these foundations your favorite too?

Or if you have similar skin type with me, what’s your favorite foundation that’s not listed here?

February Favorite + March Rotation

Hey Pretties,

Itā€™s that time of the month again to review what youā€™ve been putting on your face. I start to like doing this kind of post as this reminds me to be more selective in buying products in the future (yeah right, like itā€™s possible hahaā€¦) well, at least I try not to buy everything šŸ™‚

So without further due, letā€™s just get into them

Makeup

  1. Tartelette Amazonian Clay

Yā€™all know that Iā€™m trying to pan this palette this year so no wonder this now becomes my February favorite. Iā€™m doing pretty good in using this palette. Not only because itā€™s basically a really solid palette for everyday look, but also for the so many matte shades that I can reach for every time I create a look, whether itā€™s for the crease or to set the eye shadow primer. I do mix this palette with others for some pop of color.

Side note: I donā€™t do as good with my Lorac palette though. I know I put it on my palette rotation and I did use it for a couple times this month, but my next favorite is the reason why I failed to use the Lorac palette more.

  1. Tartelette In Bloom

I know, I know, Iā€™m terribly late to the hype of this palette. But, what can I say, since I got this on Valentine day I canā€™t stop using it. It smells so good (kinda similar to the Too Faced chocolate palettes scent) and the colors in this palette, especially the shimmer ones are STUNNING.. I donā€™t regret at all to choose this over the Tarteist Pro Palette when my husband asked me which one that I want. I feel I can use this palette a whole lot more that the Tarteist Pro, because yes the Tarteist Pro has more shades but itā€™s more warm tones. I love that the In Bloom palette is more neutral and daily use friendly. No wonder itā€™s on many people favorite (PS: Kandee Johnson and Kathleen Light love this palette so much)

  1. Too Faced La CrĆØme in Juicy MelonsĀ (*)

I am not a fan of liquid lipstick, never was and never will. So, yes even though itā€™s kinda ā€˜old styleā€™ I still and will always love conventional lipstick. Itā€™s called lipstick so it should be a stick for the lips, and yes it should be in a stick form J Well, this lipstick in particular is so comfortable on the lips, creamy not greasy and has such a pretty warm pink tone. It doesnā€™t have the best staying power and I do have to re-apply it throughout the day but I donā€™t mind at all. Iā€™d prefer to re-apply my lipstick over and over again but my lip doesnā€™t feel dry and I still can get away without exfoliating them every single day

  1. Milani Baked Blush – Luminoso

Again, another super late hype on a product. I really wanna bang my head and scream ā€œwhere have I been?ā€ This blush is sooo pretty. Well, I guess I donā€™t have to say much on this one. Pssst, Iā€™m on the mission to get some other shades from this baked blush line. I do mix this blush with BH Cosmetics floral blush too. The BH blush is more on the shimmery side so I donā€™t use it as much

  1. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer(*)

Hey everyone, my name is Fenica and Iā€™m a chocaholic. Iā€™m obsessed with this sweet delicious thing since I was a kid. You all know that good stuff about this thing. Itā€™s a chocolate-y brown completely matte bronzer with enough warmth to bring some life to my slightly pale skin during the winter. Who am I kidding? I donā€™t only use it on winter of course. This bronzer is so good and quite versatile I might say. Itā€™s suitable for light-medium skin tone but even if youā€™re fair you can still put this on without looking muddy. I use this yummy bronzer for contouring too.

PS: I donā€™t have any contouring product, always use my bronzers for contouring.

  1. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara ā€“ Mini Size

I just realized when I organized my makeup I have some mini mascara from my purchases so Iā€™m gonna put mascara in my no buy list until mid of the year. I love this mini size Roller Lash so much. The curve wand is really nice to apply the mascara on top and bottom lashes. It gives nice natural curl even without curling you eyelashes first. I will definitely put this on top of the list of my favorite mascara and probably get the full size once Iā€™ve used up all my other mascaras.

  1. Essence Pure Nude highlight

With my oily skin and big pores, blinding glowy rainbow highlight is not on my attention when I put my makeup on. I produce my own highlight on my skin J but anyway, this nude highlight really got me. It gives just enough subtle glow to balance out my matte products that I cake up on my face. I use this on top of my cheek, and a little on my cupid bow to give that lips a fuller look.

  1. Formula 10.0.6 PM Perfector

screen-shot-2017-03-01-at-10-03-55-am

If this isnā€™t a best friend for oily skin girl, I donā€™t know what is. I bought this at almost the end of January, and I can already see the difference in my skin in aboutĀ a month using it intensively. It really helps to balance my skin condition. Before using this cream, I always woke up with greasy oil all over my face, yes all over my forehead, cheek, nose, and chin. After using this amazing cream, I notice that itā€™s only my nose thatā€™s still so greasy when I wake up. Itā€™s great that Formula 10.0.6 sent me some products and this PM Perfector is included so I have backup. A little note, if you have dry skin I donā€™t think this night cream will do much for you because it doesnā€™t feel hydrating but itā€™s soothing and feel tightening when you first apply it. After itā€™s absorbed itā€™s just nice smooth skin feeling, and not much hydrating going on.

  1. Treat Beauty Lip Scrub

screen-shot-2017-03-01-at-9-52-43-am

Holy Moly if I donā€™t hold myself I would have chewed this thing up. It smells so delicious, and taste sooo good too. Iā€™m a lazy girl to the core, so if I can do something the easiest way, be sure that I will do it. Iā€™m a fan of winter but I hate that my lips get dry so bad during that time of the year (itā€™s already above 75 degrees here, so winter is over here in SC) I love this lip scrub as much as I love conventional lipstick, because Treat Beauty makes it in the form of lipstick (the size is 0.5 oz, regular lipstick size is 0.11oz) Just apply this like you apply regular lipstick, well massage and rub it a little more and youā€™re good to go. Highly recommend this, itā€™s convenient, easy to use, travel-friendly and of course, smell delicious šŸ˜‰ (Pssst..they’re always free shipping so you can buy only one product without paying shipping)

NOTE :Ā Sad to say the Laneige sleeping mask and the yoghurt one makes my skin much more oily than usual so I stop using it. On the plus side, this will be a good alternative for the PM Perfector for the dry skin.

Now, as for the products that Iā€™m putting on my March rotation are :

  1. Nyx Avant Pop
  2. Nyx Sweet Cheeks blush
  3. Nyx Strobe of Genius
  4. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation
  5. Maybelline Fit Me concealer

Whatā€™s your favorite during the month of love? Is there any of your favorite (or product you donā€™t like) thatā€™s on my list here? Drop me a comment or two down below

Peace out!

Ulta Sephora HAUL 1

Hey y’all

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already known that I did a little haul last week. So without further due, let’s see what I got

img_2728

here are the “damage”

From Sephora

  1. Kat Von D Lock It Concealer ($26)

img_2717

This was actually a repurchase after Iā€™m out of this product in October last year. Iā€™ve been using Tarte Shape Tape as the replacement, which is a really good concealer of concealer (you guys know all the hype around the Shape Tape) but I still miss the Kat Von D one so much. Stay tune for the review and comparison of these two BOMB concealer

  1. Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover ($26)

img_2722

There is no particular reason why I bought this. I guess because of the cute packaging and still in the vibe of Valentine (yeah, right!) It has a really soft texture and the color is BAM! in your face. You need to use a very light hand for this blush because it’s so beautifully pigmented

From Ulta

  1. Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Moisturizer ($ 6.99)

img_2721

Since Iā€™ve been trying their mask and got some other products sent to me (thanks Formula 10.0.6) I fall in love more and more withĀ their products.Ā I’ve emptied my St Ives Collagen Moisturizer (Girls, it took forever to use up that giant jar šŸ˜€ ) Spoiler, this one lifts up to its claim as a mattifying oil-free moisturizer. I’ve been using it since last Friday and let me tell you this, I put this moisturizer to the test. The longest record it hold so far is yesterday when I looked shine free for a good 7 hours, no touch up, no blotting! so excited! Aaaand it doesn’t break your bank šŸ™‚

  1. Nip Fab Exfoliate Glycolic Fix Serum ($14.99, as of right now when I posted this it’s on sale for $ 12.74 on Ulta website

    img_2729

Iā€™m aware that now I’m in my late 20s and I have to start the anti aging skin routine. Ā this serum is how I started to intensify my skincare. Iā€™ve tried some Body Shop serum before but I didn’t really use it much. It was more on and off relationship with my previous serums until I can’t use it anymore cause itā€™s expired. I have more awareness now that I started to see a fine lines in my under eye area.Ā I decided to give this serum a try as Iā€™ve seen some good reviews about it on YouTube and Instagram post. The price is also very reasonable so why not.

  1. Burt Bees Eye Makeup Remover ($ 5.99)

img_2726

Another impulsive side of me made me clicked the added to my bag button, and Holy Moly how I’m falling in love with this! You donā€™t need long time to know if you like a makeup remover right? Well at least thatā€™s why I feel and yes, again, Iā€™m in love with this pad. Itā€™s a thin cotton pad that you can just wipe it on your eyes and itā€™s good to go. It doesnā€™t burn my eyes, no tingling sensation and Ā it took out the super pigmented Kat Von D eyeshadow and Better than Sex mascara easily.

  1. Loreal Infallible Blend Artist FoundationĀ BlenderĀ ($ 7.99)

img_2720

Just because I canā€™t justify myself again to spend $20 for Beauty Blender and Iā€™m bored with Real Technique sponge (still love it though, still have RT sponge as backup too) This foundation blender feels more bouncy and a tad bit firmer than Real Technique one. Texture wise it’s more similar to the original Beauty Blender. Overall, itā€™s nice but I feel that this one absorb more product than the RT one.

  1. Physician Formula Butter Bronzer ($ 14.99)

img_2725

For the sake of my longing for summer, I need to bring this back to my collection. You guys already how good it is, smell so good, and lift up to their name for itā€™s really buttery soft. This bronzer is really subtle, and the color is lighter Too Faced Chocolate soleil bronzer. It’s more similar to the Milk Chocolate one.

Well, that’s part 1 of my haul this time šŸ™‚ Have any of you doneĀ a makeup haul recently? Let me know what you bought and what do you think about it? March will be a no buy month for me so I would love to know what should I get when Iā€™m back on market šŸ˜‰

PS : Nyx Haul coming up soon šŸ˜‰

Hope you all had a great weekend and amazing week ahead!

Find Your Everyday Palette

Letā€™s be honest, we always reach for neutral colors for daily eye shadow, donā€™t we all? Unless you work in the industry where it requires you to put on creative makeup, normally people will reach for the neutral look for everyday use (hence tons of youtube tutorial on smokey look, neutral look, matte look) Maybe occasionally a little pop of color to match your outfit sometimes, but me personally will reach for the palette that I know for sure what look I can create out of it without thinking to combine it with other palettes

So here I am, looking at my collections and realize how many neutral palettes that I have. But, Here are my top 3 palettes for everyday look

img_2475

1. Too Faced Semi SweetĀ
Why is this on my top of the list? One, itā€™s because it has pops of blue in this. Two, it is because it smells like chocolate. Yes, I said it! Who wouldnā€™t love to have chocolate smell in the morning while putting on makeup? (I love me some nice smell on my products) Not to mention that you can get tons of cool and warm neutral colors in this palette. I also love how the shimmer in this palette looks, not too gliterry but still give a nice glow to brighten the eye look.If I can only choose one from Too Faced big palette, I will definitely choose this one.

Little tips for look that I do many times with this palette:

Mousse+Puddin for crease, Hot Fudge for outer corner, Bon bon for the lid, Butter PecanĀ for brow bone highlight

2. Tartelette In Bloom
This palette wonā€™t be in a lot of Beauty Guruā€™s favorite palette if it isnā€™t good. If you follow me on Instagram, the In Bloom palette is a very recent palette that I got but Iā€™ve been eyeing for it for quite some time. When I finally got it, I can tell that itā€™s love in the first swipe. The pigmentation is awesome, the texture is all so soft and so easy to blend it, it also smell like chocolate (not as strong as Too Faced, people says it smells like Vanilla but for me it smells like coco powder but very subtle)
You can definitely get various look from this palette. From a very simple no-makeup look to a sultry smokey eye look, thatā€™s not too dark, because itā€™s more on the deep brown side instead of black.

A nice nudeĀ look that I have tried with this palette:

Smarty Pants + Jetsetter for crease, Funny GirlĀ for the lid, Flower ChildĀ for brow bone highlight

3. Too Faced Sweet Peach
For you who love warm tones and girly shade for everyday look, this palette is the BOMB. You can pull a lot of look from this refreshing smell palette. If you would like to have a neutral look, you can go with the browns in this palette. Add up that peachy, pink, subtle green for pop of colors, or purple and deep brown smokey look. I always love Too Faced shimmer shadows, and this palette is no exception

Peachy girly look from this palette:

Peaches n Cream for base, Georgia + Candied Peach for crease, Bellini for lid. For more defined look, I sometimes use Tempted or Delectable as eyeliner (only thin line right on the roots of the lash line)

img_2473

Honorable mention
Lorac Pro Palette (the original)
Why donā€™t I put this one as the 4th? Lorac Palettes are all so great in pigmentation and their eyeshadow are also very soft. One issue though, since itā€™s so soft, you will need to be light handed when applying it. Well for me, especially in the morning, I donā€™t feel like thinking doing my makeup or ended up with bold colors. Yes you can opt for the light color, but the crease color can go bold from 0 to 100 with just one swipe. So if you know for sure how much product you can get from one dip of brush, this palette is really good for a simple look, with a pop of gunmetal, or bronzy color.

Let me know whatā€™s your favorite everyday palette in comment section below.

What other neutral palette that’s a must have?

January Favorite + February Rotation

Hey Pretties,

I’m a self procrastinator, so here I am in the second week of February discussing my January Favorite

img_2182

  1. Sweet Peach Palette

You guys, this palette is going up to my favorite palette list really fast. This is the palette that I constantly reach for almost everyday since I get it. In fact, this is one of the palette that I’ve been using non stop for straight for a month. The colors here are so wearable for every day look. I personally not always reach for warm tones but this palette makes me loving warm tones more and more. And yes, the smell is also another reason why I love this palette so much. It’s just so refreshing to put your makeup on and have a nice sweet smell while doing it.

  1. Sugar Pop

Even though this is a very colorful palette and I need other palette to tone down the colors, but this is a really nice palette. Iā€™ve mentioned this palette before (check it here) With the spring is just around the corner, I believe this palette is gonna be a staple accessories for my other neutral palette.

  1. Mac Lipstick Giddy and Sunny Seoul

Yā€™all know I have special place in my heart for Mac lipstick. This two shades are very wearable for everyday look. Giddy is more nude pink while Sunny Seoul has brighter pop of pink. Yes, Iā€™m guilty for having so many nude pink lipstick

  1. Elf Blush Palette

First time I got this, I feel that these blushes are kinda dry and I donā€™t like the texture thatā€™s not buttery soft. But my oh my, itā€™s pigmented, and blends sooo nicely on the cheek. You can also mix the colors in this palette to get the blush tone you like.

  1. Rimmel Scandaleyes Kajal liner

Iā€™m not a fan of wing eyeliner, so my choice for eyeliner is tight line or just a simple liner on the lash line. Rimmel eyeliner doesnā€™t play game when they say itā€™s waterproof. These pencils stay put on my eyes, glide smoothly and doesnā€™t budge, doesnā€™t smear. With the price of $3.49 the quality of this liner is definitely high up there.

  1. Formula 10.0.6 Mud Mask

I was trying to find a more affordable mask to replace my Origins Charcoal Mask and came across this brand at Ulta. Instant result in minimizing and clearing pores, firm and tight skin without making my face feel pulled. I mentioned this in my skincare routine before, and I love love love it. Iā€™m thinking to try their peel mask next as skincare variation. The scent of their products are also really nice and refreshing.

For this month, here are the products that Im trying to use more :

  1. Lorac Pro Palette
  2. Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte
  3. BH Cosmetics blush
  4. Laneige Mask
  5. Too Faced La CrĆØme Lipstick
  6. Essence eyeliner pen

PS: Giveaway is happening on my InstagramĀ Head out there for the chance to win some beauty products

Ciao!

Complete Palette Collection

img_1845

Letā€™s be honest, thereā€™s no way as a makeup lover that we can survive with only 1 eyeshadow palette. As a palette hoarder myself, Ā I do feel that I have eye shadow palettes more than I actually need. So for the sake of my self-achievement to proof that I can minimize my collection, I think so hard about this: Ā If I can only have 5 palettes that I can use for the rest of my life, which one that I know I will definitely need and use

So here they are

  1. Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte – the Basic

As you all know this is one of my favorite matte palettes in 2016. It comes with a mirror in a sturdy, pretty packaging. The shades here are all mates and the color range from the light cream to blackest black matte. This is what I call as my basic palette, and it’s also a great palette with abundant transition colors. As a hooded eyes, I definitely need this matte palette to complete my look

  1. Kat Von D Metal Matte – the Complete

To be honest, if I can only choose one palette from my entire collection, I will definitely pick this one in a heartbeat. You can get a complete choice of looks to create, with the pop of color and metallic shades as variation, I’m sure that if I only have 5 palettes in my life I will use this one often. All shades in this palette are very wearable, not to mention their blue, green and purple are amazing (both matte and metallic one) The only down side is this palette is limited edition so it’ll be hard to find the replacement.

img_1850

  1. Too Faced Bon Bon Palette – the Romantic

This palette may seem to be a basic palette, but itā€™s not just a basic for me. The pink shades in this palette is really good. Bon bon palette comes with soft pink, neon pink, with cool tone brown shades that Ā I love. This is probably the reason why I picked this over the original chocolate bar palette (that’s leaning more to the warm tone browns). Letā€™s just say, this is my romantic palette because it has pink and purple for sultry romantic look.

  1. Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette – the Warmth

Not gonna deny that the scent from this palette is a strong factor for me to choose. It might be a turn off for you who’s sensitive to strong smell, but I love the sweet scent coming from this palette. However, thereā€™re other reasons why I put this to complete my collection. Iā€™m not a warm tone lover for eye shadow because it tends to make my makeup look muddy, but the warm tones in this palette doesn’t. It’s not extremely pigmented but very easy to build the warmth on the eye

  1. Juviaā€™s Place Masquerade Mini – the Color

IĀ come to realize that as much as I love colors on my eyeshadow, the colors always run in the same color family. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see that I love blue eyeshadow (a lot!) purple, green, and pink tone. This palette is perfect for my color preference because it has all the color that I will actually use. Never will I use red or yellow for my eyeshadow unless it’s halloween (maybe). After knowing what I’m comfortable with, this palette definitely has become one of my staples.

So, what do you think? Do these choice make a complete collection for you so then you don’t need other palette? Probably not (yeah, why do I still I want other palettes even though I have all of these hahaha..)

Let me know what will be your choice if you can only have 5 palettes

Do you think this 5 palette will cover your need? Ā You decide!

Battle of the Colorful palette

img_1411

Why do I need colorful palette?

I want some colors in my collection, because most of my collection are full with neutral eye shadow and not many pop of color. Iā€™m a neutral and smokey eye lover but there are times that I want some colors too

Do I really need such rainbow in my makeup collection?

Well, the answer for the need is actually no, but my curiosity got the best of me as usual when it comes to makeup.

So here it is, my thought on the colorful eyeshadow palettes that I own. I’m gonna rate it based on the palette quality, wearability, and my suggestion to use. Starting from the top rank to my least favorite

1. Metal Matte by Kat Von

Is it a good palette (pigmentation, blendability, longevity) ? Yes

Is it a must have? Yes (too bad it’s limited edition)

Is it for every skin tone? Yes

Can this be worn anytime? Yes

Can this be a stand-alone palette? Yes

This is the best palette of all time. For the love story between me and an eyeshadow palettes, this palette takes it all. You got all the color you need without looking too crazy colorful.

Pigmentation is excellent and the metallic shadows in this palette don’t need wet brush to get the vibrant colors pop. All the swatches here are fingers swatches with very light swipe no pressing at all. The colors stay put in your eyes even when you donā€™t use any primer below that. Itā€™s so easy to blend (all Kat Von D eye shadow are easy to blend) but it doesnā€™t just simply mixed together so then you lose the original color.

To top it off, you also can get such a ‘normal’ look from it. Neutral nude eye, warm tone brown, a simple dark brown or even black smokey eyes, matte and metallic shade combination are all possible to get from this one palette. I almost put this as my only favorite eyeshadow of 2016Ā but itā€™s limited edition so not necessarily accessible for everyone.

2. Sugar Pop by Too Faced

Is it a good palette? Yes

Is it a must have? Depends

Is it for every skin tone? Yes (but a little tricky for deeper skin tone)

Can this be worn anytime? Yes

Can this be a stand alone palette? Yes

There aren’t many colors in this palette, since it’s only 9 colors palette, but Too Faced never let me down with its color selection in the palette. To be honest, this probably is the Too Faced palettes that is not repetitive or interchangeable with other palettes (letā€™s say, you donā€™t really need Natural Eyes palette if you already have the Chocolate Bar palettes)

This is a unique colorful palette which is more on pastel-y side. The pigmentation good but because it is pastel tone, you canā€™t easily get the vibrant color in just one swipe (this is also why I said it’s tricky for deeper skin tone, because eyeshadow base is a must otherwise you won’t see much color compared to lighter skin tone that can still get away without a base and just simply going 2-3 times to pack the color) but still the colors are so vibrant and pretty. As I have mentioned, white eyeshadow base is needed to help the color popped more or put a black or dark base to built a vibrant deeper tone.

This palette is great for spring and summer, but who am I to judge if you want to pop the dark purple and hot pink for fall and winter tone? I do really think that this is a really nice palette to have if you just need a little color as a variation in your collection. Itā€™s not a palette with crazy bold purple, yellow, red color but still not a boring choice of color to put on your eyes once in a while.

3. 28 Foiled Eyeshadow by BH Cosmetics

Is it a good palette? Yes

Is it a must have? Depends

Is it for every skin tone? Yes

Can this be worn anytime? Yes

Can this be a stand alone palette? No (for me)

This palette lands the 3rd place not because it’s not pigmented enough. It’s actually quite pigmented even without using a wet brush (on the swatches picture the top part is dry brush swatch, the bottom one is brush swatch wet) Ā This palette can only be my #3 choiceĀ because it’s an all foiled eyeshadow and has no matte at all. The reason I bought this was of course because, one, I wanted to have some pops of color in my collection, two, I thought this foiled colors can be just easily to put on the lid, and three, BH cosmetics is an affordable product with decent if not pretty good quality.

But as I use it more, I realize that I canā€™t use this palette without having another palette with it. I know I just want to use them as eyelid color, but itā€™s just not practical and convenient to always have at least two palette to use this (at least for me). If you are not a hooded eyes girl like me, this palette will most definitely be on a higher rank. But, since I always need matte transition color and cannot get away from it, this palette is just not enough for me to look ā€œput togetherā€ by only using it. Itā€™s pretty, so pigmented (sheen shimmery look without wet brush, or shimmery with more vibrant look with wet brush application)

Another good thing about this palette is this can be used anytime spring summer fall winter, it has the color for every seasonĀ because of the color range in the palette itself. Last but not least, any skin tone can pull this one off, again because the color choice that it has can suit anybody.

4. Full Spectrum by Urban Decay

Is it a good palette? So so

Is it a must have? No

Is it for every skin tone? Yes

Can this be worn anytime? Yes

Can this be a stand-alone palette? No

Disclaimer : the packaging is super gorgeous!! and itā€™s the reason why itā€™s so hard to put this palette at the bottom of my list. But, honesty is the best policy, so sorry Urban Decay, doesnā€™t matter how pretty your packaging is, itā€™s not how I rate my eyeshadow palette.

Opening the palette for the first time took my breath away. It literally is a color spectrum in a palette. Itā€™s beautiful, the placement of colors is stunning, the big mirror is to die for. But, why does this palette fall on the bottom of my list?

When it comes to eye shadow palette, my biggest concern is the pigmentation. Is it not pigmented? No. All I can say is, this eyeshadow is not as pigmented as an Urban Decay eye shadow that Iā€™m familiar with.

Do I hate it? No. Can I work with it? Sure, you can always build the pigmentation by using wet brush or putting a base before applying it. But, because I’m a long time user of naked palettes (the original one, naked 2 and naked 3), this palette is just not up to par. Its formula is more on the dry side, (this could be a matter of personal preference) but not the kind of dry that I’m used to with my other palettes from Urban Decay. I know that Urban Decay eyeshadow is not always the buttery silky soft one, but because Iā€™m familiar with their dry formula, this one still just doesnā€™t do it for me.

When you can use this palette more? I canā€™t say itā€™s an everyday palette because the color choice in this color is pretty bold in this palette. If you like smokey blue, or purple or green everyday then by all means, use this everyday and skin tone doesnā€™t really matter here because you have plenty colors to choose.

Thatā€™s all for now, Girls. If you have questions about the palettes above, request on product that you want to know more, or just want to say hi and share your experience if you have the same palettes, feel free to drop a comment down below
